Green Maritime Fuel Bunkering Incentive Scheme

1. The Government rolled out the Green Maritime Fuel Bunkering Incentive Scheme for encouraging pioneer enterprises to start ship-to-ship LNG and green methanol bunkering businesses in Hong Kong. Incentives may be provided to eligible pioneer applicants for successful bunkering operations conducted. The maximum amount of incentives for each type of recognised green maritime fuel is HK$2,000,000.

2. To apply for the incentives, an eligible company should submit an application form with the bunker delivery note and document proof of chartering or owning the bunker vessel concerned (whichever is applicable) enclosed to MD for each eligible bunkering operation conducted under the Scheme within two months after its completion.
