Hong Kong is the busiest container port in the world.The Port of Hong Kong - Handbook and Directory 2007, a much sought-after handbook published by Informa Maritime and Transport and supported by the Marine Department., is your friendly guide to this hub of Asia with vivid details of its economy, port facilities and shipping industry.

Complimentary copies will be handed out to shipping-related companies, organisations and individuals on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are interested to get a handbook, just follow the simple steps below so that we can try our best to meet your requests. Only the English version is available.

(A) Hong Kong-based organizations and individuals:

You can collect ONE complimentary copy of the handbook from our Information and Public Relations Section by presenting a request letter (addressed to the Director of Marine) that shows you are related to the shipping industry. The Section is located at:

If you wish to get MORE THAN ONE copies, you should seek our prior agreement by sending your request letter to the Section so that it can consider your justification. Requests from non-shipping-related parties will be processed under special circumstances in the same way.
